Argentine GP 4th Place Finisher Francesco Bagnaia: “There Was No Chance to Overtake”

Francesco Bagnaia Reflects on Tough Argentine GP: “I Want to Improve for Austin”

Francesco Bagnaia faced a challenging race at the Argentine Grand Prix, struggling to execute his strategy despite efforts to maintain a consistent pace. After being overtaken by Franco Morbidelli, Bagnaia attempted to keep up but couldn’t find the opportunity to reclaim his position. Even though he picked up the pace towards the end, an overtaking chance never materialized.

Francesco Bagnaia’s Comments

“I tried to maintain a consistent pace, but the strategy didn’t work out as planned. After Morbidelli passed me, I struggled to stay with him. I was able to increase my pace towards the end, but there was no chance to overtake. I managed to close the gap, but it wasn’t enough.”

“I’m still not back to the feeling I had last year, but the bike is very similar. I’ll focus on improving further for the next race in Austin. The season is long, so it’s important to stay focused and give my best in every race.”
