MotoGP™ to Remain at Valencia’s Ricardo Tormo Circuit Through 2031 – MotoGP 2025

MotoGP™ has announced a new contract to continue hosting the Grand Prix at Valencia’s Ricardo Tormo Circuit through 2031. This agreement confirms five additional editions of the event, from 2027 to 2031. Known for its stadium-like layout that offers spectators a view of most of the track, the Ricardo Tormo Circuit is beloved by both fans and paddock personnel. Located near one of Europe’s leading cultural hubs, Valencia, the venue is also praised for its well-organized operations and strong promotional efforts.

The circuit has previously received multiple “Best Grand Prix” awards, and with this contract extension, it is expected to remain a top contender for such honors in the future. Although the final round could not be held in 2024 due to flooding, this year it is set to once again serve as the dramatic conclusion to the season.

Carlos Mazón, President of the Valencian Community

“We are grateful for the support shown to Valencia. I believe this is undoubtedly the right choice. No other Grand Prix sells out faster than this one. There is a massive fan base here, a deep love for motorsport, and an intense passion for motorcycle racing. This is incredibly important for Valencia, Cheste, the province of Valencia, and the entire region.

This renewal was achieved amid fierce competition, but we were always confident we had the trump card. What sets us apart is our fans.

I also want to highlight the economic impact MotoGP brings. We are working not only on emotional recovery, but economic recovery as well. With such a devoted fanbase behind us, we hold the winning hand. My congratulations go out to the motorcycle racing family in Valencia, in Spain, and around the world. This circuit—already full of soul—returns even stronger after last year, ready to once again host this magnificent sport.”

Nicolás Collado, General Manager of Ricardo Tormo Circuit

“As of 2025, the confirmation that the Valencia GP is secured through 2031 is the best possible news for us. It is proof that we’ve been on the right path for the past 25 years. I want to sincerely thank the Valencian regional government and MotoGP for their continued support. Motorcycle racing is a deeply rooted part of Valencian culture.

Although the Grand Prix couldn’t be held in 2024 due to flooding, Dorna and MotoGP never stopped supporting us. Now, as we focus on recovery, we are preparing to deliver the best Valencia GP ever this November.”

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports

“We are very pleased to announce the future of MotoGP in Valencia. This circuit offers a uniquely panoramic experience for spectators, and the atmosphere created by the fans is truly special. The stands are always full, and the promoter does a fantastic job.

For us, it’s a privilege to have a venue that allows us to respond to such passionate fans. After the events of 2024, this five-year extension reflects our long-term commitment to Valencia. We’re looking forward to returning this season and continuing through to 2031.”
