Fabio Quartararo Confident After Top 5 Start

Fabio Quartararo expressed satisfaction with both his pace and the work completed during the first day of running.
He admitted that after his crash he was unsure whether he would be able to ride well again, but was ultimately pleased to finish the day in the top five.
His regular goal for Fridays is to secure a spot inside the top ten, and during Practice, after spotting a yellow flag while pushing, he wisely backed off to preserve his tires, later completing a strong lap to break into the top ten.

Fabio Quartararo:

“The pace was good and we got a lot of good work done. After the crash, I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to ride well again, but in the end, finishing in the top five made me happy. My goal every Friday is to be in the top ten. During Practice, I saw a yellow flag while pushing, so I slowed down to save the tires, and then put together a good lap afterward to make it into the top ten. Tomorrow in qualifying, I want to deliver a strong lap. In the previous races, we used two different chassis, but this weekend, I’m riding both bikes with the same chassis, which is a positive step. If I can qualify inside the top six, that would be good, and I hope for a similar result in the Sprint as well.”
