Calm Amid a Strong Start – Fermín Aldeguer Reflects on His Best Friday Yet at the French GP

Fermín Aldeguer enjoyed what he described as his best Friday of the season so far, showing strong pace and feeling confident on the bike. While satisfied with his setup progress and personal performance, Aldeguer stayed grounded and emphasized learning and growth over chasing immediate podium results. For the weekend, he set realistic targets: aiming for a top-six in qualifying and a top-eight finish in the race.

Fermín Aldeguer:

“I’m really happy — this was my best Friday so far this season. What’s most important is that the feeling with the bike is very good. Being able to fight in the top five is huge, and I think we’re doing an excellent job. The setup is improving, and I can feel the progress continuing.”

“I’m still improving personally too, but the strong feeling from the bike is a big help. It keeps me motivated. I believe we can achieve even better results in the future, but right now, I’m not thinking about the podium. The focus is still on learning and hitting our goals step by step.”

“In qualifying, I hope to stay within the top six. In the race, I want to stick with the faster riders, keep improving, and hopefully finish around the top eight.”
