A Race Full of Valuable Insights

Marco Bezzecchi fought his way through intense battles in the early stages of the Thailand GP, making aggressive overtakes to secure a 6th-place finish. Despite challenges in qualifying, he felt the race provided significant learnings and valuable takeaways for the future.

Bezzecchi emphasized that while an issue on Saturday morning affected his qualifying performance, he was able to collect crucial data for the race. Though he regretted his Sprint start, he remained positive about his consistent pace and overall enjoyment of the race. More than just earning points, the key takeaway for Bezzecchi was the wealth of information gathered, which will help him and the team progress. As a factory team rider, he is expected to take on a development role in the absence of Jorge Martín, at least until the Argentina round.

Marco Bezzecchi’s Comments

“We had a bit of an issue on Saturday morning, which affected our qualifying. The Sprint start was frustrating, but we managed to collect important data for the race. I really enjoyed the race itself, and maintaining a solid pace was a big positive. We scored points, but more importantly, we gained valuable insights that will be crucial moving forward. It was a positive weekend overall. Of course, there’s still a lot to learn, but I think we did a great job as a team.”

With a strong mindset and valuable data in hand, Bezzecchi and his team now shift their focus to the next round in Argentina.
