A Battle Against the Heat – Quartararo Secures One Point
Fabio Quartararo started from 10th on the grid but struggled with the feeling of his YZR-M1 from the early laps, dropping as low as 18th. However, as his rivals began to face difficulties later in the race, he gradually recovered positions and ultimately crossed the finish line in 15th place, securing a single championship point. He finished 26.456 seconds behind the race winner.
Fabio Quartararo’s Comments
“I had grip issues right from the start. At first, I thought I just needed to warm up the tires, but I couldn’t push from lap one, and the bike was sliding a lot, which caused me to lose several positions. Unfortunately, I couldn’t maintain a good pace afterward, and it turned into a really tough race.”
“Riding at the back of the pack was incredibly hot and physically demanding. We’ll have to see what we can improve for the next race in Argentina.”
