Aiming for Further Grip Improvement
Luca Marini started FP1 in 6th place, demonstrating the solid setup of the Honda RC213V. In the afternoon session, he recorded a time of 1’38.136, setting a realistic goal of breaking into the 1’37 range. The team is working on improving rear grip and preparing for tomorrow’s sprint race.

“FP1 was a very good start, and I was able to set lap times smoothly. In the afternoon, like other riders, I had to work to shave off more time, but improving rear grip remains a challenge. Based on the data we gathered today, we plan to try some new ideas. Q1 will be a tough battle, including with Mir, but I’ll do my best. You never know what will happen in MotoGP, so I want to seize every opportunity.”
