Steady Progress for Álex Márquez – 5th in Qatar GP Practice: “The Feeling Is Good; A Clean Lap Will Be the Key Tomorrow” – MotoGP 2025

Álex Márquez wrapped up the opening day of the Qatar Grand Prix on a positive note, finishing 5th in the night practice session. Reflecting on the day, the Gresini Ducati rider described it as “very positive” and emphasized that the team is making steady progress, even if track conditions in the afternoon were still a bit unpredictable.

Álex Márquez:

“It was a very positive day. In the afternoon session, the track was still a bit strange, so it was hard to draw clear conclusions, but we definitely made progress.

During the time attack, the yellow flags prevented us from putting together the best possible lap. Still, the feeling on the bike is good. Tomorrow, the key will be to put in a clean lap—it’s essential for getting a good starting position.”
