French GP – Francesco Bagnaia: “We Need to Fight for the Win”

Francesco Bagnaia is heading into the French Grand Prix with determination, aiming to build on his strong performance from the previous round while recognizing the need to push even harder. Emphasizing his intention to fight for victory, the Ducati rider reflected on a recent test in which he tried components already used by Marc Márquez. However, due in part to strong winds, he didn’t feel any notable improvement and has decided to approach this weekend without major changes to the bike’s setup. At the Le Mans circuit—a track he favors—Bagnaia highlighted that addressing the struggles he faced last year at Turn 3 and Turn 9 will be key to success.

Francesco Bagnaia:

“I’m really looking forward to the race in France. The fans are amazing, and the sight of the grandstands is incredible. I want to perform well like I did in the last race, but I feel I need to push even more this time. We need to fight for the win. In the test, I tried parts that Marc has already been using, but with the strong wind, I couldn’t feel any real improvement. So this time, we’re going into the race without making big changes to the bike. I want this to be a good weekend, and I’m aiming for the win. Le Mans is a track I really like, and if I can improve on Turn 3 and Turn 9, where I struggled last year, I think I’ll have a good chance.”
