Aprilia’s Massimo Rivola: “Jorge Can Win with Aprilia Too” – Satisfaction with Bezzecchi’s Victory

Aprilia Racing’s Massimo Rivola expressed deep satisfaction following Marco Bezzecchi’s victory, viewing it as a well-earned reward after a challenging six months of development without the presence of Jorge Martín. The team’s continued effort during this difficult stretch paid off, and Bezzecchi’s result confirmed both his raw speed and the potential of Aprilia’s machine on fast circuits. Rivola noted that the win, following previous triumphs by Maverick Viñales and Aleix Espargaró, was a significant morale boost for the entire squad.

Massimo Rivola:

“I’m really happy—truly happy for Marco’s win. It’s been a tough six months developing the bike without Jorge, but this makes it all worth it. Yesterday, Marco went from 19th to 4th on the first lap, showing incredible speed, and today—although Fabio’s retirement was unfortunate—Marco’s win is a deserved result that reflects his pace. In the end, we delivered when it mattered most.

These fast tracks suit Aprilia well, and Marco showed exactly what he’s capable of. Results like this help push the whole team forward during difficult periods. We’ve already won with Maverick Viñales and Aleix Espargaró, and now with Marco Bezzecchi too. When Jorge Martín returns, I truly believe he can win with Aprilia as well.

We’ve got our Aprilia fan meeting next week, but what’s most important now is that Jorge continues to recover well.”
