Struggles with Soft Tires Impact Performance

Jack Miller started strong with a 7th-place finish in FP1 but faced difficulties in the afternoon session. He set a best time of 1’38.058 but struggled to find the right feeling with the soft tire, preventing further improvement. He narrowly missed Q2 advancement by just 0.2 seconds behind Bagnaia, who secured 10th place.

“I’m satisfied with the race pace. In the afternoon, we worked on the setup with the soft tire and then went for a time attack. The first run felt good, and the grip was amazing. However, in the second run, it felt like we reverted to the initial sensations, and I couldn’t improve my time. We missed out on Q2 this time, but we’ll make adjustments in FP4 tomorrow and aim to advance through Q1. It won’t be easy, especially with fast riders like Morbidelli, but the bike’s condition isn’t bad, and I hope to find a solution.”
