British GP Sprint Race – 6th Place
Francesco Bagnaia: “After the fourth lap, rear grip dropped sharply”

Struggled with rear tire wear

Francesco Bagnaia got off to a strong start, but from the fourth lap onward, he experienced a sharp drop in rear grip and struggled particularly under braking. His heavy reliance on the rear tire led to accelerated wear, costing him competitiveness and ultimately resulting in a sixth-place finish.

Francesco Bagnaia:

“I had a good start today and tried to stick with the leading group, but from the fourth lap, the rear grip clearly dropped off, and from there I lost competitiveness. I couldn’t attack effectively under braking, so I relied too much on the rear to get the bike turned, which only worsened the tire wear.

We’re working on finding the right direction to close the gap, and I’m also trying to improve my riding style. I want to get back to the level of tire management I had in previous years.”
