Feeling a Strong Connection with Honda

Johann Zarco recorded a time of 1’37.685, finishing 7th in practice and reflecting on what he described as an overall good day. He spent a significant portion of FP1 leading the timesheets and felt satisfied with how well his riding style aligned with the Honda. Although the afternoon session proved more challenging as rivals increased their pace, Zarco secured a place in Q2. He expressed his determination to maintain this positive feeling and aim for strong results in both qualifying and the sprint race.

“Overall, it was a good day. In FP1, I was able to lead for quite a while, which was a positive result. I’m satisfied with how well my riding style is matching with the Honda here. The afternoon was tougher, as rivals picked up their pace, but we managed to secure a spot in Q2. Tomorrow, I want to maintain this good feeling and aim for strong results in qualifying and the sprint.”
