Jorge Martín (Aprilia Racing) participated remotely from Spain in the Thursday press conference for the Argentine GP, where he discussed the status of his injury recovery and his prospects for upcoming races. During the press conference, Martín revealed that his recovery is not progressing as hoped and confirmed that he will be unable to compete in the upcoming race in Austin.

Jorge Martín’s Comments:
“Right now, it’s a really tough situation. My recovery isn’t going as well as I’d hoped. I want to be clear here—I’m not going to be able to participate in the Americas GP in Austin. I wish I could, but it’s just not possible. I’m also not sure yet if I’ll be ready for the Qatar GP. At this moment, it’s hard to say.”
“Before returning to racing, I’d like to do some test runs to check my physical condition. I’m not in a good state right now, so I’m discussing the situation with Massimo (team manager) to figure out the best approach. We’ll see how things go.”
“It’s tough watching the races from home, but I’ll be closely following this weekend. I hope Aprilia can push hard and get closer to the podium. It might be a bit boring without me there (laughs), but I’m expecting a great race from the team. I’ll be cheering them on from home.”
