A Tire Choice Miscalculation

Brad Binder endured a challenging race at the Thailand GP, finishing in 8th place. He was forced to manage his rear tire carefully, making corner exits a delicate balancing act. While he stayed smart and avoided unnecessary risks, he admitted that there may have been a slight miscalculation in tire selection. Nevertheless, considering the difficulties of the weekend, he saw the result as a positive one. Grateful for his team’s hard work, Binder set his sights on achieving a stronger result in Argentina.

Brad Binder’s Comments

“It felt like an incredibly long race. I had to take care of the rear tire, and I needed to be extra cautious on corner exits. I tried to stay smart and not push too hard, but we may have made a small mistake in our tire choice. Still, given how tough the weekend was, this wasn’t a bad result. The team did an amazing job, and I’m aiming for a stronger finish in Argentina.”

With lessons learned from the opening round, Binder and the KTM team will now focus on making improvements for the upcoming Argentina GP.
